Southeastern

Southeastern operates almost all rail services in Kent, and many on the Kent / Surrey / Sussex borders.

From London Charing Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street and London Bridge, services fan out to destinations including Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford, Dover, Canterbury, Margate, the Medway Towns (Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham), Maidstone and Dartford.

Southeastern also operates the High Speed 'Javelin' services from London St Pancras to Ashford, Dover, Canterbury and Margate.

Longer-distance train services have First Class accommodation (except for Javelin High Speed services which are Standard Class only) and are in modern air-conditioned trains; many of these services also convey an at-seat trolley service selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and sandwiches.
