Ticket Collection and Delivery Options

Free Collection From Self-Service Ticket Machines

For the quickest and easiest ticket delivery, choose to collect your tickets free of charge from the station. You can collect from any National Rail station that has a self-service ticket machine - not just your origin or destination. If you're planning to collect your tickets very early or late in the day, you may wish to check station opening hours on National Rail's website, as self-service ticket machines may be closed or unattended.

Easy steps to ticket collection:-

  • Collect tickets just 15 mins after booking (pls allow sufficient time during peak hours)
  • Take the email confirmation to the machine, and choose 'collect pre-paid tickets' option
  • Enter the 8-digit collection reference (a mix of letters and numbers eg. T4X7DPL9), and any payment card - this does not have to be the card used to buy the ticket
  • Check the correct amount of coupons have been dispensed - your train tickets, supplements and seat reservation if applicable. You'll know when all coupons have been issued - the last will be a collection receipt
  • If you have any problems - please raise immediately with local station staff

Any ticket collection problems must be raised immediately with station staff before your train departs; they should be able to re-issue tickets upon production of your booking confirmation print-out.
